''Observer, I suggest you re-read my post. To start with I'm not a Buddhist and I never said that I was. I was using Buddhist-Christian dialogue as an example of finding common ground in religions. It might have been Hindu, Jain or Muslim. Secondly, who said I haven't had a spiritual journey since I left the Family or am not having one even now. Just because I cannot give a label to my beliefs doesn't mean I don't have any. How presumptuous of you. You say you are only interested in matters of faith relating to our common experience in the Family? That's fine if your faith is Christian.''

Sorry to give you offense, Susie. I surely didn't mean to. I am very aware from your past posts that your are not a Buddhist, but simply studied it. I also did not presume that you had no spirituality. I was trying to say that whether you had one or not, it was your business. I guess I didn't make myself clear, and in trying to show you that I felt empathy for you, I've only succeeded in upsetting you.

I thought I had expressed myself clearly by saying that I'm only interested in, say, Buddhism if it relates to our Family experience, but I guess I didn't. What I mean is that I'm not particularly interested in studying Buddhism on my own, but if YOU, as an exmember, have explored it, then I respect your spiritual journey, and would be interested in hearing your thoughts on the matter, as we all came out of the same cult and are still trying to sort things out.

Sincerely, no offense intended.
