Some very good thoughts. You're quite a deep thinker Eva and have thought a lot about all this so I'm wondering what conclusions you've come to about why Jesus died on the cross which most Christians feel is the main point of the gospels? I sort of get the impression so far that, well, i don't know what impression I get about what you think about this. Let's forget for a moment what Paul and the other apostles said about Jesus' death in their epistles because the gospels of Mark and Matthew and John and Luke all talk a lot about it and what it means. So why do you think Jesus died on the cross? For our sins? Or do we not have sins? Do we just all need to become more enlightened?
A related question to why Jesus died is do you believe Jesus resurrected physically from the grave? Or did he just die and stay dead? Again you know this is a key part of most Christian thinking, aand I'm wondering if it's part of yours also.
One thing I like about you so far is that you don't dance the little two-step around honest questions even if they're difficult, so I'm only looking forward to being further informed about what you think.
