I am not sure of your specific point here, because the quote and then behavior you are talking about and the damage that was done to the follower was not about anyone being lesbian.
Berg was not only a pedophile but a rapist in my opinion. The damage done here was because a sexual encounter was being pushed using position and threat of rejection by God, and then the girl who wouldn't was forced to either do something against her wishes or be severely dealt with. It doesn't matter if a homosexual or heterosexual woman was dealt with for refusing a man or for refusing a woman. If a person does not want to have sex with another adult and is coerced to that is rape. And the horror of being (as a disciple in that group would think) rejected by God (or of submitting to unwanted sex) is extreme spiritual abuse. I think Berg misunderstood sexuality ALL TOGETHER as sex was coerced via his doctrine amongst many heterosexuals and that was every bit as damaging.
