The arrived at Journey, or the Journey that journeys?

I’ve been thinking about the name of this board “Journeys”. The word itself is obviously not going to mean the same thing to everyone.

When there is a post that suggests there’s got to more to Spirituality than a fundamental belief in Bible scripture, there is often a counter post from a Bible believer who will quote the appropriate verses. I’d say that the person who quotes the Bible has a conclusive concept of the “Journey”: “Neither is their salvation in any other”, or "...there’s no sickness, toil nor danger in that bright world to which I GO... I’m only going over Jordan, I’m only going over home.” In that sense I'd say there is the perception of completion to the Journey.

There can be the perception that the Journey in itself is eternal without an end.

Or the notions that the Journey is implicitly subjective?

I don’t really have a definition for what my own Journey is. That’s the way I want it. That may change, I don’t know. I draw personal spiritual enrichment from so much more than just Bible scripture, and I evolve accordingly. Therefore, I can be pretty sure that the place where I’m at now is not going to be where I will be one year from now. I also know that that place, a year from now, will be a better one than the one I’m in now.

I strongly believe in personal development. I like being able to look at myself in the mirror and say to myself that I like what I see, I can do that because I’ve been improving myself.

There’s such an endless array of aspects to my own Journey, and I’ve very minimally talked about a couple of them.

I like your description of the rack and being free to try on whatever hat you may find and feel comfortable trying on. (I hope no one quotes any beware verses about Satan being transformed into an angel of light, but if they do, well, 'c'est la vie'.)
