Not all belief systems are equal. Some are just plain dumb. Most are circular in logic or self-reinforcing. Even "faith" can be described that way.
However, I would hesitate to say Osama Bin Laden's religion is responsible for his belief system of violence and killing of innocent lives. I would also hesitate to give credit to Mother Theresa's actions to the RC church which tried to put a stop to her work from the very beginning.
