He spoke against relativism and even wrote a letter called The ARE absolutes, also using the Bible to back up his criticism of the churches.and also talked about the fruits he had which the churches didn't have and used the very same "By their fruits ye shall know them."
Berg did NOT argue for relativism, I don't know where you get that idea. He argued that he was trying to bring us back to the original teachings of Christ which the church system had corrupted through relativism. He thought superior his interpretation of the spiritual standard and claimed it was the churches who were being relative, applying only verses they saw fit. He said they did not let the word of God speak to their hearts as something which applied today, but placed the Bible back in a historical context. Berg didn't deceive us by telling us the truth was relative, but by the certainty of his opinion.
