I understand Alan, even I have gotten hot under the collar several times and overstepped the mark in the insults department. All I am saying is the way you feel when this person insults you is also the way some people feel when they are 'bible bashed'. It can affect someone with a bad experience with Christianity like a red rag to a bull. Just be mindful of the myriad circumstances that have led to that point.
PS I don't mean to preach to you Alan, its just my humble opinion.
