I agree with you. Understanding is sometimes easier but I contend that knowing has more value and virtue than understanding. Maybe that's why explaining is more difficult than understanding, because to explain one must know first. I wonder what differences ans similarities we may find by looking at scriptures with the verbs know and understand.
