My wife & I found a church we almost attend

I know that sounds funny but we like this place because there's no pressure to perform. We go there like one Sunday a month which is about our speed. It's not because we still have the Berg stereotype of non-Family Christians and churches, but that's just how often we can get out of bed on time.

I have long ago gotten out of the little box Berg tried to paint us in. His self-righteous view was that "We are the best" the only Christians truly serving God on earth, the only ones sucking the paps of David, drinking his piss and eating his dung. Oh, how "special" we were. It was the height of self-righteousness. And then to turn around and say that all the churches were so self-righteous because they didn't believe in the Law of Lust.

The idea was, if you leave the Family you're backsliding. But if you find a church to go to after you leave then you're REALLY backsliding. Yeah, well I guess I AM backslidden from the Law of Lust. I guess I am backslidden from being a professional charity con man and liar. I guess I am backslidden from eating the dung of David, sucking his paps and drinking his piss.

I found a decent no-pressure church where the people are real, ordinary working class people. Maybe 1 out of 10 is SR and religious, but they're the exception. In fact, I'd put that at maybe 1 out of 50. All I see in that church is people looking for the truth, wanting to follow God, wanting to make a bit of a difference and being friends to others.

I knew Berg lied out of every corner of his mouth about almost every subject going, and it's good to realize he was lying about "all the churches being self-righteous". No, the pastor does not fuck the songleader on the stage in front of the entire church to show us how revolutionary sex is done. I guess he's a backslider too.
