The Family's "Movie List"

I mean, this may be obvious to you, but it only now dawned on me...the Family has a "previewing committee" that watches any movies of possible interest to "screen" them before the innocent members watch them.
After most movies on the list, there is a "prophecy" given by the usual list... Dad, Jesus and various spirit beings.
Anyway, after watching the movie "Pleasantville" last night, I recalled the Family's "message" was that those people who couldn't see color were the "systemites" and the Family were the ones able to see the colors because they were so radical and "free", etc.
But after the movie, I realized they couldn't justify that message, really... the people who were set free were not just the ones who tried sex, but mainly the ones who READ BOOKS! The Family strongly resists reading books more than even watching movies! They know the power of the written word and they only want their members to get THEIR written word!
So, I realized that the Family uses the movie list (all CMers are not supposed to watch "unrated" movies... it's a requirement!) to make sure when members watch movies they only get the "Family's slant" on the movie and make sure they stay totally brainwashed!
It really makes me mad that my thinking was so narrow all those years.
