As the European Super State grows bigger and bigger, and posseses more and more powers, then Yes, I do think the Anti-christ will emerge from it. The Germans, basicaly run the Economy, and try to force all other member countries to accept the Euro. I think the AC will be a German politician, somewhat like Hitler, with a similar rise to power, who will engineer a Peace settlement between Al Qaida and Israel, and will then become so big headed, he will try to force everone to bow down to him. Just as Hitler wanted to invade England, Russia and, eventually, America, so this AC will succeed, destroying much of America with his nuclear weapons, to save invading her. Once all the invaded countries are using the Euro, it would be easy to switch to a cashless society with everone carrying their own personal Debit card, implanted in their body to prevent fraud. I hope I'm wrong, but that's my vision of the future, say in 20 to 30 years time.
