i read her post, as well as the interveiw w/ author on cbs. i think the author may be redefining terms. if you look at www.forgivenessinstitute.org and see how they define forgiveness, what it IS and ISN"T, many off the issues this author raises disappear, and one is still left w/ a vision of forgiveness that transcends natural instinct, and incorporates a spiritual understanding (from many faith perspectives) for the supernatural phenomenon of forgiveness. imo.
but in any case, there is no admontion to bless injustice, nor RECONCILE w/ the unrepentant.
