What was interesting about Agee's sermon was that it had nothing to do with paganism (as far as I can remember) or alternative world religions or Satanism, etc. He was using the term "witchcraft" to describe behavior that I would term "manipulative". And the beliefs he was talking about had more to do with distorted and destructive beliefs about human relationships than with beliefs about gods, God, etc. I would say he was demonizing certain kinds of behavior among Christians.
