I don't know about the pastor thing, but in Houston he and Adria and a huge litter of kids have been on a local "Christian" TV channel as regulars. They sound just like the family, and the quality of the show is like crappy family quality. They sing some old family songs and SD and Adria are just as rigid as ever, maybe even moreso than family days. The kids are trained puppets and if he is no longer connected to the cult then he has his own little following, which seems connected to an Asian church. The show they put on is a children's show, "The Star Family" or something like that. I feel sorry for the kids.
