What I think is that I largely agree with your post, but her apology was done via family PR. Is she still a part, even if not as CM? Because if so, she is still in that mindset. In order for her to do anything sincerely, she would first have to get out and cut all ties with them. She may be beyond that. It may take a court of law to shock her out of that. That is, if a court of law is an option, can catch up to her, and her victim's want to prosecute and the DA accepts the case(s). It is certainly within the realm of those abused by her to take whatever action they choose to. It seems some people like James P. were able to start seeing that something was wrong in Bergville having been up there in the inner circle. Why Sara can't see that, having been so close to the main perp is beyond me. I would venture a guess that perhaps because so much was done in her name and directly by her under Berg, and having been abused as a child herself, that coming to terms with it all is just too much. Now that there is all the info on the net and the consequences of those actions and the dire effects they have and have had are at least partially realized and printed publically, she has to be aware of the horrible nature of the acts, of all the abuses has had. Perhaps denial is the only thread that holds her remnant of functionality in place. That, or she no longer has a conscience.
