Thanks for sharing that AG. It helps put things in a new perspective. I will probably go to see the film, but haven't been looking forward to all the blood and violence.

The thing that bugs me the most about the film so far is that Mel wouldn't lift a finger to drop some to the stuff that would stir up hatred against Jews. It would've been so easy to do without compromising the message ofhis film in any way but he refused to. And now we find out his dad is a holocaust denier and Gibson won't even state publicly that he disagrees with his dad.

About those "miracles" like the main actor getting struck by lightning on the set, I think that actually happened, because the first I heard of it (before Mel) was from Jewish sources quoting it as proof that God was displeased with the film.
