I heard some of the info preachers get about Jesus' suffering comes from doctors examining verses in the Bible, likethe stuff about the blood and water coming out of his side. But there's other stuff I heard that people try to say is there in the Greek. I heard that the Greek supposedly says that some of the Roman soldiers homosexually molested Jesus while they were mocking and flogging him. I'm no Greek expert but I'm sure glad Gibson didn't include THAT kind of stuff in his film.
