there was a very real absence of coke and popcorn in the showing I went to. It was very sober, and people were extremely moved. I think it's going to have a real effect on the public. I heard from Alan that Andy Rooney made some unbelievable comments about Mel Gibson, God and hooted down the film, saying he wasn't going to spend 9 bucks for a few laughs, etc. Well, that old buzzard is certainly a mirror of how degenerate the world has become. I'm glad he said what he did, so it shows a very striking contrast between his idiocy and obvious lack of understanding and intelligence and the beautiful story of Christ's love for mankind and how he fulfilled it.
