I agree with you here Susie. I also believe people are capable of great good and do great things too and all the shades of grey in between.
In the family, it was always "God" if something good happened and "me" if something bad happened.
While there is great tragedy in the world today I am glad there is also good. Like how good it was that you got out with your kids and got/are getting on your feet in spite of all the family did to shatter your spirit. Sometimes it takes a long time to pick up the pieces, but we are strong women here (and guys too) that got out of that pit and stayed out. :)
