I did not intend to suggest that people with brain diseases are demon possessed.
I was reflecting (unsuccessfully) on my subjective experience of being triggered by this fear of mental illness. Also, I was responding (unsuccessfully) with the suggestion that Berg's combination of character disorder, brain disease, and substance addiction can be a very powerful and frightening condition to deal with.
