Snow, eh? We went from under 50 degrees to over 70 degrees in one week. It's been like summer and I am hating it. It's only March, for heaven's sake. The birds are going nuts, they are everywhere, as if spring came and went in one day and they have to make up for all the lost time. All the wildflowers are out too and the snow run-off is nearly gone!!!! I dread thinking about the brown hills, biting red ants, rattlers and sticker bushes that arrive with the summer heat.
I do understand that we will get back to normal spring weather in a week, so that's good. Last year the Sierra's got more snow in April than we did in June, so maybe we'll have a repeat of that. Is this global warming, or just normal stuff?
Yes, hubby is teaching and we are still up in the mountains. Writing is going slow. I worry about my grammar too much and then can't get anything done. Plus, there is still so much distraction, I worry too much about the children, even the oldest ones! They all call me to tell me their troubles :) But we are tight and that makes me feel good.
How are you guys?
I'm thinking that about the movie too, though I haven't seen it. I'm wondering if I'll have the same impression. But you know, that's Catholicism for you, they have always emphasized that part of the life of Christ. Heck, if it makes people feel closer to their religion and wanting to be nicer to eachother, than that's a good thing.
