Sorry. I didn't mean to sound crabby. Of course you're free to discuss whatever you want. And you can't possibly know what has been discussed before you got here.

I was personally so burned out on the subject of Bible prophecy that it's only been in the last 2 years that I could even bring myself to think about it again.

What has surprised me this time around is the diversity of opinion among educated believers. It goes way beyond the issue of pre-or-post-trib. In addition to the book Donny has talked about, "The Last Days are Here Again" (Richard Kyle), let me also recommend "Christianity 101", by Gilbert Bilezikian. Aside from being a great way to check your foundational ideas about such things as the Bible, God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, mankind, salvation, the Church, etc., there is a tremendous chapter on End Times, which offers a thematic, rather than a verse-to-verse method of interpretation of prophetic passages. Very healthy and sound. This chapter is what actually, finally made me want to re-study these things for myself.
