I also do not pity SGAs for losing their faith, and I don't even know if I would use that phrase. Yes, they've been burned by religion, and so was I. I feel more like I totally understand where they are coming from and hope for a better future for them. Some have left and continue on in the Christian orientation. It's still an individual thing and now they have the opportunity to find their own spitiual niche or not even have a spiritual niche if they so desire. They now have the beauty of free will and I think that's great. They have a right to feel angry at religion or religious people or religious dogma. Maybe one day they will reconcile that and see Christianity, the bible, the words of Jesus for what it really is. In the meantime, God has got to understand, or he's no God.
