you know, it sometimes almost surprises me how jesus seems to be so laid back.. like w/ the rich young ruler. it seems he made it actually unusually tough for him to follow, and when he started to back off, simply let him go. the "sons of thunder" wanted to call done fire on the town that didn't recieve jesus. jesus just said "sheesh, you guys... you don't know what spirit you are of!" and simply kept walking. invitation, "whosoever will".."i stand at the door and knock"... none of our armtwisting tactics, or manipulative altar calls. i think mankind can really get in a snit about stuff.. more righteous than God.
