It seems that there are many similarities in many Christian-like groups borrowing heavily from one another. Many years ago I read an article about Berg's beliefs but I cannot offer the citation. I would suggest you go to your closest state university and visit the library. Go to the reference desk and ask for help in the subject. They will direct you to the right journals, possibly related to sociology/religion. The article in question may have been over 15 years old but it did a good job at naming the actual factions from early days of american and european christian factions.
