Be cautious with labeling other religious beliefs 'cults'. Generally a cult is a 'high-demand religious group' though not exclusively so. Mormons, for e.g. would be considered part of a cult not because of their religious beliefs, strange as they may be, but because of the controling, high-demand nature of their religion.
Gnostics are not necessarily high demand. Feel free to disagree with them all you want but for the sake of ex-cult members on this board who lean toward a gnostic worldview, please avoid labeling them 'cults.'
