Sexual immorality is not something a Christian should wave about and look for loopholes about. I'm sorry if Miguiel was sincerely questioning with these questions, but to me they farcical as if you are trying to look for ways to have your cake and eat it too. So the following is answering his questions.
M: "Well, even when we know that adultery is a sin, just looking at a woman to lust after her, is adultery. "
lydia: (Here Miguiel is stating that he knows adultry is a sin, and using what Jesus said "to lust" after in your heart is adultry)
M: "Does that mean that when a woman looks at a man to lust after him, is not a sin? "
lydia: (The word "man" used in the Bible is not considered valid only for the male species. Since a woman is quite capable of having the ability to lust, then we know that yes this verse applies to women just as much as it does men.)
Miguel "What about a man looking at a woman or a woman looking at a man without lust but with deep affection, "loving" in a platonic way? Is that possible? What about "lustless" friendship between people of different gender? Can there be such a thing? "
lydia: (Yes Miguiel, you can admire a something beautiful without lusting after it. Yes friendship with between male and female without sexual basis is quite possible. It is spoken about in the Bible as greeting each other with a Holy Kiss. That is meant to imply that we keep our thoughts and mind holy, pure, innocent. IMO and shows that we are quite capapble of having Christian relationships without the lust issue.)
