that i do not have a clue about concerning Jesus. he is way bigger than my ability to comprehend. but to sense his intimacy, and fondness in specific situations is neither demeaning him nor abberational theology. read some john piper, mike bickle, brennan manning , john eldredge, or the gospels, (esp. john), the psalms of david, the song of solomon, st john of the cross, teresa of avila, etcetcetc
it's ok if you don't think jesus likes me very much. i admit, it sometimes streches my faith, but geez...if you ever met heidi i think you'd have to agree that he is quite fond of her.and
