Here, in New Testament, "sans Berg" times, I have tended to feel like the 2 disciples felt when Jesus told them "You don't know what spirit you are of", regarding the "Sic 'em, God!" curse.
Or, it's like the OT passage where the angel let someone know they better get on God's side regaring ALL battles, rather than just the upcoming one (in Joshua?).
I identify completely with your passion; though.
