Krickey, mate! You sure enough know about the Academic Board, don't you? I never heard of Hilda Doolittle (for real), and I have a BA in Liberal Arts, concentration in literature & writing. Maybe we should start a poetry and literature chat under Academics? I wrote a paper once on the mystical medieval British writer Margery Kempe. I tried to do an hermaneutic on contemporary feminist spirituality based on her stuff. It was a bit of a stretch.

For the religiously minded among us, your "pedantics" just go to show how much there is to know about the history of human experience, both sacred & profane. One definition for wisdom that I carry around in my head is this: Always know that I don't know everthing I need to know in order to know much of anything.

That's what piling it (academics) higher and deeper taught me.
