Not eally but it looks like you have something very specific in mind. My question doesn't have anything to do with something or anything that is being discussed right now only.
The only topic where there has been lack of respect for one another in this board and where these new guidelines fit is when related to politics, meaning US politics.
In the end it is your board and you do whatever you like to its rules. I will remind you that I am not the only person who noticed the decreased level in the quality of postings on the subject of politics in comparison to other subjects. It doesn't have to be that way but that has been my observation, hence my questions.
If people are going to cross the line of respect when dealing with others, and I have seen this happenning in posts related to politics, who is going to be the judge of what "crossing the line" is worse than others? That was my question.
