Great point, which I found also emerging in my healing process, not to want to be like other, compare myself with the achievements of others or lifting myself up above them...being satified with what you get...not as if I had completely attained, but it's much more clear to me than in TF, which had some crazy adherence to hierarchies & rolling out the carpets to spiritual celebraties, although they at least knew about the danger of getting lifted up in pride...
That's also the weak spot in PD's contribution; although I deeply feel for what she writes, it's really, really precious...however, no one should tell you: Oh you're the greatest, the super generation...we shouldn't think of it of ourselves, & not even tempt others with it, even if another man's mouth should do the praising...I personally think it has no good fruit...why callest thou me good, Jesus asked back...God alone is good...so I think that was a real weakness in TF, to think to be such a great, important, far out, revolutionary blah, blah, blah movement...
Morally TF just hit the bottom, the pit...& IMO it's pretty much due to pride...I offer that as possible explanation.
