Yes, those are examples of earth religions.
My point in bringing this up was that I sense that some are rolling their eyes when they hear "New Age", thinking the term must be something conservative Christians came up with, to discredit everybody who is not one of them.
It IS a way of lumping all kinds of different spiritual beliefs/practices together, but not in the way most of us might have thought.
