When you say you never believed in the "rapture," or that it isn't in the Bible, I think you might want to clarify what you mean by that statement. You and I have discussed the various beliefs concerning the second-coming of Christ, and we share the same beliefs regarding that event. Most Christians define "rapture" as what will happen when Christ returns for his people. As it says in Ephesians, "The dead in Christ will rise first, then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together, to meet the Lord in the air."
While believers disagree on whether or not the resurrection, rapture, and second coming of Christ occur before, during, or after the "great tribulation," we all believe it will eventually happen.
I assume your use of the term "rapture" is meant to refer to the belief by some Christians that they will suddenly disappear from this world before the great tribulation begins?
