Has anyone here ever had pyschic experiences? When I left TF, I found meyself getting into a spiritual awakening. I had a near death experience, and when I got back to this world, I started seeing auras. I thought I was hallucinating at first, but there too many consistencies, to make a long story short. :) Then I was able to read palms. Of course at the time I thought this was totally cool, from reading about Madamme(sp?) M. It was fun to be able to look into a stranger's hands and tell them all kinds of things nobody else could know. I got so good at it people started giving me money. But they always wanted some sort of guidance and they were looking for answers, and that's what they were paying for. I didn't understand it then, but I knew deep inside that I had nothing to give them, no adbice or anything useful, or even if I did I felt they should go find out for themselves. A few things happened to scare me into realizing I didn't want to go down Guru Road. One time, this girl from NZ had me look in her hands, and I started my usual stuff trying to impress her, and I told her to count the number of things I said that nobody else could know. By the time she got to 75, she got really scared, and she pulled her hand away. The last thing I said was I saw her in a conflict with 3 peopl, and that there was sex involved, and it changed her liffe ina big way and that it happened very recently in the country we were in, and that there was a conflict between some people about who was to have you first, netx and last. I didn't understand what I was describing really. SO off she went to Japan, conintuing on her trip around the world. Suddenly, 2 weeks later, she looked me up inan entirely different city, and she told me that she just couldn't go on with her trip. She told me that she had been drugged, mugged and raped in another city than where I met her both times, and that she was left in a hotel room on the floor naked. She had faint memories coming back, and knew that there were 3 men, and they were fighting about who would get to rape her first. She had already reported as much as she could to the police, when she went to another part of the country to try to forget and to enjoy herself, sic! That's when she met me and I told her all this stuff. The end result was I had not only her, but a bunch of women following me around, looking for answers, believing I was some kind of guru. Yeah it was in a country where people fall for stuff like that in every corner. I told thema ll to go home, and that I had no answers for them. I wasn't aboutt o start my own cult! Later on, I read a book I really loved by Richard Bach called, the Adventures of a Reluctant Messaih. It was a very interesting and ebntertaining book that defies description. It had to do with the messiah complex. I soaked up everything about it. If I could name 1 of the books that helped me on a road to spritual recovery, it was that one. I will take a look at amazon.com to see if there are any gists written up. I'm really bad at book summaries. Anyway, just wanted to share that and ask if anyone else had similr things happen. Oh yea I forgot to mention, as soon as I made a decision to have my feet on the ground, all that psychic ability disappeared eventually.
