I think this should be added to the DSM V or what ever number it is at now. Symptoms should be:
Need to have at least three of the five symptoms for diagnosis:
1. Having a sense of superiority in one's belief over every other faith or those lacking religion to the point of feeling anguish,pain or disdain for those who are not like-minded.
2. Need to attempt to legislate righteousness according to one's own religion or way of thinking to the detriment of others that think differently.
3. Fixated on condemning others that don't see things in one NARROW perspective.
4. Delusions of dying as a martyr by taking others lives for one's ideology or belief, or a need to suffer persecution to feel one's ideology is completely adhered to.
5. Having strong feelings for others "being lost" to burn forever in hell or be separated from one's interpretation of paradise if stringent belief pattern is not followed.
