I like the idea of a lightly moderated board for politics. I have concerns about a Bible believing Christian's board.
My reasoning goes like this: I consider myself Christian but carry with me way too many questions that I haven't been able to sort out yet. My answer, to take those by faith, has been sufficient but not totally satisfactory. Not all Christians would agree with this conclusion and may suggest to not ask questions, but I don't equate child-like faith with being simplistic, so I ask questions and seek answers.
I could go to a Christian-only board and ask those questions but I can easily see how some may see them as doubts and even as non-Christian. Something similar may happen in Journeys about comments that may be seen as too Christian.
While respect is difficult to legislate, it is not difficult to enforce. I'd advance the idea that the only-Christian board is not implemented and that Journeys continue being the common space for Christians and non-Christians to come together.
