Does it bother anyone that Family missionaries are taught to pray against their enemies? My own beliefs about prayer suggest that it's a very, very inhumane thing when people consciously, willfully and energetically put hurtful intentions into the cosmic flow. Even if God doesn't listen to prayers that someone be struck down with cancer or what have you, it seems to me all that negative mental energy and malevolent intent may is probably not be good for children and other growing things.
