That's exactly the scripture that comes to mind every time I hear something about The Family's curses and prayers against their enemies. I think, Gosh, doesn't anyone in The Family read the Bible? Or, how the heck do they explain this teaching of Jesus in light of what they actually do?
I don't care whether the OT prophets cursed people in the sight of God or what other scriptures you want to quote to justify acting on your fear, hurt feelings, hatred, need for revenge, or mean-spirited envy, you'll never convince me that praying against another person is a loving thing to do.
