I enjoyed your example of having good timing. It may be closer to the truth than the idea of having a super coordinator who can accomodate averybody's needs and interests.

I am one who prayes for many little things, and more than a few times they do happen. Having the same type of scientific mind and training that some have mentioned I am more than skeptical about the "acts of God" but so far I have been impressed by the almost predictable outcomes of prayer. And in many cases it is a matter of timing.

So where does the supernatural occurs? From my point of view, it is in the synchronization that we can continually allow ourselves to participate with the rest of the universe around us.

That is why when I am driving at 90 on a 55 MPH freeway and I find a few slow cars I take it as a blessing thinking that perhaps my speed will cause something bad to happen should those not slow me down. Interestingly, this brings me a rational explanation of why I cannot do what I want to do, hence peace. "lead us not unto temptations" comes alive in that we never find out when temptation has been taken away from us.
