My wife as a child was visiting a doctor who was cleaning her ears & she turned in the chair & the doctors' instrument accidentally damaged her right ear. She became deaf in that ear. When she joined the family they claimed verses & prayed over her & nothing happened. She prayed despertely but nothing happened. Then the Family started condemning her saying that there must be sin in her life or God would have answered. Then she searched her heart & prayed & claimed more verses but nothing happened.
Then she left the cult & one day a guy who claimed to be a faith healer came to where she was staying & prayed for her. She'd been deaf in her right ear for about 15 years by now. He prayed for her & there was a pop & suddenly she had perfect hearing in her ear again & still has now 12 years later.
I don't know why God doesnt answer all our prayers that way but that one cannot be explained by anything I know of but a miracle of God.
