I like the random idea too. No prophets, no people greater than another due to their religious or non religious preferences.
And I think life can be very meaningful and very "spiritual" for an atheist or agnostic. For some reason, some people seem to think atheists or agnostics are incapable of random acts of kindness or a meaningful life. On the contrary, there are people that are full of life, purpose, hopes, dreams, hurts, struggle, accomplishment, learning, living, loving and making a difference in life or just living it well that are "unbelievers" or have no defined belief.
By the same token there are "believers" that live their life stifling others out of fear of anything that deviates from their own perception. The Christians, atheists, buddhists, etc that I like best are the ones that radiate life. Not perfectly, but their life is not about preaching their ideaology. IT is about living it day by day..That is how I view it right now. :)
