Just a personal reflection on what you wrote: I think I have the 'genie in a bottle' mentality, and if I am truly to change my opinion toward prayer then I must gain a new perspective on what it actually means and represents.
Does prayer mean a petitioning of God, or does prayer mean a meditative moment communicating with God? What exactly is prayer?
