Back to Atheist and acts of Kindness

I was just rereading the posts below and thinking about acts of kindness done by atheist, budhist, other religions, and satanist. My thought was how many missions hospitals have been started by atheist, how many wells in Africa have been dug by budhist, how much aid has been sent to the victims of Hurricane Charlie by satanist. We all have the capacity to do good works and acts of kindness within us whatever our belief system. One thing I believe it comes down to is motivation, why do we do an act of kindness? From a Christian perspective it is because that the love of Christ constrains us. Why would some Christians where you work want to pray for you, if you seem down or sick, same reason! I've seen a lot of back and forth about prayer here and what it is, and why God doesn't answer some prayers I beieve that is the perogotive of I AM! I've heard the question is prayer petioning, or spiritual communication. It could be both. Prayer more than anything is praise, and magnification of the One who created everything and given us dominion over everything. He gave us His Word to learn of him, and the Holy Spirit to give us power to be examples not temporary "samples" of who He is and what He is to people we connect with and come in relationship with. Myself personally I know I am alive, and didn't die from some of the very stupid decisions I made in my life. There is no way I can explain with my mind, there is no way I can be logical about it. God did it and that's it!!
