Sorry, dear Exer, couldn't answer earlier, cause my mother became sicker & visitations became necessary...

I liked your contribution: "this prayer worked"...
wonderful, to get a miracle-healing...(and so sad, how TF treated your wife, though more common, that kind of excuse)...[healings of that kind are very
suspicious though to members of the evangelical, far right community...e.g. brethren type etc....hope that doesn't disturb you ; ) ]

After we had left TF, I further studied math for 2 semesters in an university correspondence course,
was challenging besides working on odd jobs to
support my family...well, the relationship went downhill, not because of that, but during that time...later, I learned some profession for 2 1/2 years to become an electrician & now I am working in an automotive parts factory...if I had known that as a teenager, getting a glimpse of my future, I might have fainted, cause I was much into environment-protection...

Dear Alf at movingon once provided me with the manifest of the una-bomber...that US-math-prof who took "judgment" via bombs in his hands...

Just a side-comments/remark,...I bet though, that he was tons more talented than I & you could ask,
what more he could have contributed to science, if he had found Jesus...

For me the source of wisdom is in Jesus & God...so to have found Him is really all that really matters...

I also had sensed before, that simplicity, truth, beauty, real joy, love & peace are something far more attractive/satisfying than complicated knowledge, which can easily puff up...you get proud about knowledge, so I am happy, to have a good foundation now by faith in Jesus...

Honour, where honour is due & not seeking your own honour (Jesus said much about that)... I think,
I would have simply been a not very talented
mathematician, but even those get fairly good jobs
(moneywise)...however that was never really a motive at any particular time in my life...I was attracted by logic, methods of verifications/proving etc. & I found to my dismay, that lots in the fields of math is done by approximation, but that makes me happy now, cause
I think that the ultimate precision belongs to just God...
I think, I was just "smart enough", to realise/respect the great work, Turing, Gödel, Chaitin & others did, without knowing now really the details of their proves...
