I know little about black holes but the traditional understanding is that the pull is extreme and nothing comes out. The most clear implications come from newtonian physics but theories from strange to bizarre bring in also strange and bizarre implications. This is not really my area as it goes way too deep into theoretical physics (and math).

But I have a lot of problems when the word information is used within the physical sciences. Information is an spirit-like word and not easily understood. We don't know enough to know just what information is. As an example, even the fact that "there is no information coming out of a black hole" is information. :)
