Opiods slow down the pain messages, along with all the other messages; apparently. I'm mostly real sleepy; I dislike that. I also dislike the idea of displacing natural endorphins and creating tolerance and eventually addiction.
I do like the absence of pain; though!
I'll see the spine doctor next Tues., after Labor Day. I hope to get the fusion over with quickly, rehab, then get back to my Masters in Healthcare Management program.
