Now that I see specifically when and where you actually were in the Family mainstream it's clear you were very much out of the loop.
My problem is that I was not. And it's a huge temptation for me to be in denial about what I knew, mainly from what I read. The brainwashed belief in being a part of God's chosen, that's the one thing I think most of us, if not all of us, can identify with, eventhough there's often a lot of debate here about what brainwashing is or isn't.
