I know a TS family who live nearby, now known as FM, but when I brought up the subject of the abuse so many SGs suffered from, it was like: "Boy you really have backslidden and you really believe the lies of the Devil now don't you?" It was impossible for me to tell them anything about what Ricky said about Berg and Mene or any part of his story.
These are people who I know got all the pubs up until the early 90's, lived in big Fam homes throughout the 80's, in different parts of the world, and they've still been getting most of the pubs ever since.
It's this kind of outright rejection and denial of what actually went down that is so upsetting, especially to the SG community.
