I really liked that post...
First of all, I am very happy too, that in churches I got to sing again more songs, glorifying the Lord.TF seemed , with the years, more & more short on those ones, except for M&M favourites church songs etc...
That was a real gain for me too...
I believe, that the Spirit of David is ultimately an evil spirit, reminds me of the OT, where many kings & leaders harboured bad spirits, including Saul.
They got that delusion after they made pretty bad decisions against the Lord.As Berg's childhood training seemed to be quite Biblebased, I guess we profited a bit from that, but his lusts interfered with & hindered God's real love, that's what in the end more & more broke through
(That's IMO where our delusion also took roots, confusing some lust & love)
And I am not so sure, how much Berg was aware himself, that he was so deluded...I doubt, he was the super smart one, doing it all for a show, to trick us.I think, he believed in it...the wrong way, ultimately.(I think that is generally true of deluded people, they don't know about it, otherwise they would leave the spiral downward.)
It also started with that grandeur of believing the David-passages in the Bible, that the known D.proph. applied to him.
Strange enough, Berg encountered W.Branham, who got secrets revealed, some spirit of divination as his helper.I read some disturbing reports about him & see him now from a different angle.I thought, it could be some "nail" in Berg's spiritual coffin, to have encountered Branham, as it's not wise, to let easily people lay hands on you, where their connection with the Lord is not so clear.
I heard several testimonies of people, who were never in TF, but in charismatic movements, who felt awful, after hands got layed on them, some real strange bondage started, with bad fruits.
And in addition to that, the evil spirit(s) of Berg really got a "kick out" of deceiving many many young people -us- and with the treatment of the SGAs and other incidents we know that evil one by the fruits.
Since we rejected quite some truth, it also shows, that we're responsible ourselves & can't say, it was only that evil spirit, Berg, leaders etc.
I like 1. Kings 22 about the deception of the false prophets a l l o w e d by the Lord.
Like Jim (?) Chancellor, I can't view TF as christian, as a group...I don't know, how many of'm in the longrun will not "bow their heads & knees to Baal" & Bergs spirit...who could "get the curve out"...
I could imagine, that he - Chancellor - still encountered some very sincere people...God only knows...
